Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Accutrol LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales activities of Accutrol in the specific region(s) of the Southern US Region, from Tennessee to Texas.

An Accutrol Sales Manager is assigned a territory and carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training representatives; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

This position requires extensive travel within the territory.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet corporate objectives within the Southern U.S. region (Tennessee to Texas).
  • Manage and support a network of manufacturer’s reps and distributors, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead channel development and sales distribution strategies, including setting quotas and territory goals.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and support reps in closing key deals with engineers, contractors, and facility managers.
  • Represent Accutrol at industry trade shows and association meetings to promote brand visibility and product awareness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate order processing, technical documentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, control expenditures, and report on sales forecasts and pipeline development.
  • Provide strategic project planning support from bid through booking, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • 4–8 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with airflow control systems, building automation, or HVAC distribution.
  • Proven success managing a multi-state territory and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems (e.g., AHUs, FCUs, VRFs) and familiarity with MEP consultants and distributor networks.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to a state where Accutrol is actively conducting business (e.g., Texas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona).
