Job description

Regional Sales Manager - Heavy Transportation Manufacturing and Quality Services

This is a Remote position with an average of 30%-50% travel, mainly day trips to clients within the region.

Objective: We are expanding our team dedicated to delivering market-leading services in the heavy transportation industry. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new opportunities and strengthening customer relationships within the powersports, agriculture, and construction equipment industries. Operating in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northern Illinois/Indiana region, the role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and expanding the company's market presence.

Reports To: Director, Business Development and Deployment


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients in the powersports, agriculture, and construction equipment sectors through effective prospecting, hunting, networking, and marketing strategies.
  2. Communicate with key decision-makers regarding our quality services to achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that address customer needs and ensure seamless product and service delivery.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service to maintain trust and long-term partnerships.
  5. Conduct market research to identify trends, understand competitor activity, and uncover untapped opportunities in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northern Illinois/Indiana region.
  6. Regularly review account performance, provide strategic recommendations to maximize revenue, and prepare detailed reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments.
  7. Manage the sales pipeline effectively and document customer communications, information, updates, and interactions in CRM.
  8. Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that highlight our services, emphasizing key features and benefits.

Skills:

  1. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight.
  2. Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  3. Proven ability to build relationships at various organizational levels.

  5. Capable of preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  7. Proven history in developing business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 7+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the heavy transportation service environment (powersports, agriculture, or construction equipment industries) selling quality assurance services.
  2. An understanding of technical concepts relevant in manufacturing environments (quality, operational efficiency, logistics, etc.).
  3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
