Job summary

Bluestone Metals & Chemicals (BMC) is seeking a Sales Manager for the Great Lakes region (MI, WI, IL, MN, IA, IN, OH, NY, PA). This remote role is ideal for a seasoned B2B sales professional with 5+ years in specialty metals & chemicals, able to travel up to 50%.

You will drive regional growth, build relationships, and collaborate with the Cornelius, NC office for support. A bachelor’s degree and proven end-user sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in specialty metals or chemicals.
• Experience selling to end users, not just distribution.
• Experience selling into the Great Lakes region.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers to grow market share within the Great Lakes region.
• Identify customer needs and deliver customized solutions and services.
• Generate conceptual quotes and proposals in a competitive market.
• Review quotations with customers and negotiate price and terms.
• Solicit customer feedback and monitor competitor activity.
• Help prepare and attend trade shows and conventions.
