Our Central Life Sciences Professional Business Unit focuses on delivering insect management solutions for challenging pests in/for grain storage and processing, livestock, public health, horticulture, turf, and ant control in food crops. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to pursue key business opportunities in the grain storage industry.

The Regional Manager will develop and implement business plans aligned with corporate objectives, support key accounts, monitor market conditions and competition, and conduct market assessments for our product portfolio in designated areas. The role involves representing Central Life Sciences at industry associations, trade shows, meetings, and seminars. This is a remote, home-office-based position, preferably in Nebraska, South Dakota, or Colorado, with travel required across the territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver annual sales and profit plans.
  • Lead major grain and processor accounts.
  • Support a Performance Driven Culture.
  • Report on market conditions and competitors.
  • Develop market adoption strategies for stored grain protectants: Diacon, Centynal, PBO8, Gravista.
  • Implement sales action plans with the team to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services, Marketing, and other departments to promote products.
  • Manage resources for optimal ROI.
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks.
  • Review and adjust Market Business Plans quarterly.
  • Report monthly on sales activities and expenses.
  • Participate in industry events and provide marketplace feedback to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven sales success with year-over-year growth.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong marketing and business planning skills.
  • Background in sciences such as chemistry, biology, entomology, or grain sciences.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for market development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Ag Economics, Ag Education, Entomology, Chemistry, Grain Sciences, or related field.
  • 7+ years of consultative technical sales experience in agriculture, preferably in stored grain markets.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • 70%+ overnight travel, including flights and hotel stays.
  • Frequent contact with distributors and branch locations.
  • Participation in trade meetings, seminars, and product training.
  • Home office when not traveling, with flexible hours based on business needs.
