Segway is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop, manage, and expand the regional dealer network, driving revenue growth and market share in the assigned territory. Extensive travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive regional sales management or dealer network experience.
  • Proven track record building and managing dealer/retailer networks across territories.
  • Experience developing and executing regional sales strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Strong account management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and hold a valid driver's license.

Job description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the regional sales network to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term dealer partnerships. This role owns regional sales strategy execution, key account management, dealer development, and cross-functional alignment with marketing, product, and customer service teams. The position serves as a strategic leader within the sales organization, ensuring alignment with company values, policies, and growth objectives while providing actionable market insights to senior leadership.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies focused on growing the dealer network, increasing revenue, and expanding market share.
  • Identify priority markets and top retail partners within the assigned territory to support regional growth objectives.
  • Build, manage, and sustain long-term strategic partnerships with the defined retail dealer base.
  • Directly manage key retailer relationships to maximize revenue performance, engagement, and brand representation.
  • Ensure the regional sales force adheres to established sales strategies, company values, policies, and performance standards.
  • Partner with Marketing to support the development and execution of regional marketing strategies that maximize market visibility and demand generation.
  • Actively support and facilitate product demonstrations, dealer events, and regional activations in collaboration with regional sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with sales managers across product categories to align dealer development strategies, identify synergies, and maximize overall company sales.
  • Partner with Customer Service to continuously improve sales-related policies, procedures, and dealer experience.
  • Support the development and rollout of future sales programs, incentive structures, and product launches.
  • Assess client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and set clear expectations regarding products, pricing, and support.
  • Plan, organize, and lead regional meetings with a high degree of accuracy to ensure effective communication, follow-up, and execution.
  • Prepare and deliver bi-weekly reports to the U.S. Sales Operations Director detailing retailer activity, KPI performance, and regional market trends.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all products, services, pricing models, and competitive dynamics within the region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of regional sales and organizational objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the employees of the E-Bike team
  • Supervise the performance of each service business line/team based on goals and the effectiveness of service improvement projects.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve service performance and operational efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include setting service goals, outputting service reports, interviewing, recruiting, and training employees, handling complaints, and resolving issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in progressive experience in regional sales management, channel sales, or dealer network management.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant progressive experience in regional sales management, channel sales, or dealer network management, preferably in eMobility, consumer electronics, or powersports.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing dealer or retailer networks across defined territories.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Strong experience managing key accounts and negotiating strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to operate the company vehicle.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Strategic thinker with a high degree of ownership, execution capability, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Experience working in a multinational company within an international team is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
Physical Demands:

This role requires a combination of office-based work and extensive regional travel. The position involves prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of computers and communication equipment, and regular in-person engagement with retailers and sales teams. Travel by car or air is required. Occasional lifting of materials related to demos or events may be necessary. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
