Job summary

Master’s Transportation seeks a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales in the Northern California region. You will lead regional strategies, build client relationships with transit agencies and school districts, and guide a team of sales reps toward targets.

You will report to the Director of Sales, travel as needed, and stay ahead of market trends while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable growth for the region.

Qualifications

  • High school education is required.
  • Minimum of three years sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Previous vehicle sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of a sale, including product evaluation, pricing, and contracts.
  • Develop relationships with transit agencies, school districts, and private fleets.
  • Travel within the region to make sales visits and grow business.
  • Collaborate with the DOS to identify new opportunities and manage forecasts.
  • Document activities in Salesforce and maintain account profiles.

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Classification: Exempt

Location: Northern California Region

Reports To: Director of Sales

Job Summary

The role of a Regional Sales Manager involves overseeing and managing the sales activities within a specific region. They are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives. This includes identifying potential customers, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, a Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals. They also analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market. Overall, a Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and profitability within their assigned region.

Essential Functions:
  • Be responsible forall aspects of a sale, including product evaluation, pricing negotiations, contract development, ensuring successful product fulfillment and payment according to the contractual agreement.
  • Create and develop relationships with transit agencies, school districts and private fleet operators to ensure responsiveness andeliminatecompetition on bids / RFPs.
  • Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory including travel to make sales visits.
  • Work with your Director of Sales (DOS) to grow existing business and proactively search for new business.
  • Maintain an understanding of all company sales processes.
  • Follow internal processes to properly document all activities in Salesforce.
  • Maintain detailed account profiles and activities in Salesforce and update your DOS on account status, business opportunities.
  • Forecast and track sales of existing accounts in Salesforce.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings.
  • Understand and communicate industry trends.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:
  • High school education isrequired
  • Minimum of three years sales experience and proven sales record with a history of successful results.
  • Previous vehicle sales a plus.
Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications:
  • CollegeDegree
  • CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.

Travel Requirements: Able to travel when required.
