Busch Vacuum Solutions is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for North Carolina. The role oversees sales in the NC territory, develops growth strategies, and maintains customer relationships with end users and OEM accounts. Residency in NC is required and up to 75% travel is expected.

The position targets a base salary of $100,000–$110,000 annually, with total compensation including a Sales Commission Plan. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with experience in vacuum or rotating industrial capital

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience required.
• Vacuum or rotating industrial capital equipment experience highly preferred.
• Experience in food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
• High degree of technical/mechanical proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.

Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct-hireopportunity open for a Regional Sales Manager for North Carolina. Residency in North Carolina is required. This position requires up to 75% travel with moderate overnight travel.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the management of all sales activities within their assigned geographical territory.This position is responsible for developing and delivering annual sales growth of Busch products and services in compliance with the strategic plan, as outlined by the US Sales Director.

Targeted Compensation: The targeted base salary range for this position is $100,000.00–$110,000.00 annually, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. Total compensation also includes Sales Commission Plan.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned sales territory to maintain existing business levels, develop new business for products and service(s), and provide for annual sales growth of Busch products and services.
• Responsible for developing, managing, and training of the sales channels.
• Provide for annual sales growth of Busch products and services.
• Work with all internal departments in support of sales opportunities
• Develop long-term relationships with end users and OEM accounts, both individual and in support of the sales channels
• Maintain account profiles for specified Top Tier accounts.
• Maintain an electronic customer database.
• Develop a yearly target account list for the assigned sales territory.
• Maintain company records and files.
• Maintain, in good working order and physical condition, a company vehicle and other company equipment.
• Utilize expense accounts with prudent judgment.
• A majority of the Regional Sales Manager's time is dedicated to planning, preparing, and conducting face-to-face customer visits.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of sales experience: Required
• Vacuum or rotating industrial capital equipment experience: Highly Preferred
• Sales experience within the customer base highly preferred: Food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and aeronautical manufacturing
• High degree of technical/mechanical proficiency and aptitude
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree: Highly Preferred
• Preferred Field of Study: Engineering, Science or Business
• Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software

Job Requirements

• Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check.
• Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE, as needed.
• Must maintain a current valid driver’s license throughout employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 10lbs
• Occasional reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
• All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
