Job summary

Mercury Hampton seeks a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across the Central US, covering major industrial markets including oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities, and manufacturing. You will drive direct sales and manage a network of manufacturers’ representatives and distributors across the Central region.

You’ll conduct product demonstrations, deliver technical seminars, and collaborate with engineers and operations leaders to solve power quality and measurement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience.
  • Experience selling into industrial, utility, energy, manufacturing or process industries.
  • Exposure to electrical equipment, power quality, test & measurement, instrumentation, industrial automation, controls, reliability, asset monitoring or related technologies.
  • A proven record of growing territory revenue.
  • Experience working through distributors, manufacturers' representatives or channel partners.
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
  • The ability to engage credibly with engineers and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Sales: identify and win strategic accounts across the Central US, including electric utilities, oil & gas, petrochemical facilities, automotive plants and manufacturing sites.
  • Channel & Partner Management: lead an established network of manufacturers' representatives and distribution partners; drive channel performance and forecasts.
  • Product demonstrations and technical seminars; support trade shows and develop end-user opportunities with partners.
  • Maintain market engagement and build strong relationships with engineers, maintenance teams and operations leaders.
  • Develop territory plans, manage pipelines and ensure revenue targets are met.
