Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a leading tire manufacturer. This remote role covers the Southeast region in the United States, with a requirement to travel 50%+ for in-person customer meetings.

We value 10+ years in tire manufacturing, 6+ years in New Business Development, an existing book of business, and proven skills in lead generation, sales pipelines, and contract negotiation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in the tire manufacturing industry.
• 6+ years of New Business Development experience and identifying growth opportunities.
• Existing Book of Business and relationships with clients who would buy tires.
• Proficiency in lead generation and building sales pipelines - Must have a hunter mentality!
• Successful track record with factory direct container programs, and utilizing a quality dealer network.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation, overturning objections and closing deals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding target.
• Ability to travel 50%+ as needed for in-person customer meetings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional tire sales strategy in the Southeast.
• Identify and close new business opportunities with dealer networks and direct accounts.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast accurately.
• Negotiate contracts and overcome client objections to close deals.
• Represent the company in client meetings and trade shows as needed.

This position is 100% remote and candidates may live anywhere in the Southeast region of the US. This is an individual production position and will not be managing a team.
