Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado markets. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position involves sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the West Region Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Promote and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide outstanding support and service to customers regarding product recommendations, application, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge to stay informed about the market, customers, and competitors, and develop business plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

  1. Four-year college degree or three years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry or significant ownership/employer experience in construction contracting, preferably in pavement markings.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with the ability to work collaboratively, sell effectively, and address issues practically.
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  5. Technical ability to understand product data sheets, MSDS sheets, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial drive to achieve and exceed goals.
