Job summary

Ohio Gratings, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue and expand market share across Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. You will lead strategic account development, manage a diverse portfolio, and partner with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and superior service.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in consultative selling, territory management, and cross-functional collaboration within industrial or construction sectors, with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, gross margin, and market share objectives throughout the assigned region.
  • Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities across the industrial, commercial, and construction markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including miscellaneous and structural steel fabricators, contractors, architects, landscape architects, engineering firms, distributors, and service centers.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and expand the company's presence through networking, industry events, trade associations, and professional organizations such as AIA, CSI, ASLA, NGA, MHI, and other industry groups.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders to uncover customer needs, deliver consultative solutions, negotiate contracts, and secure new business.
  • Oversee the sales process from prospecting and quoting through order fulfillment, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, operations, and production teams to align customer requirements, optimize inventory availability, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and manage annual regional sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans while tracking performance against established goals and key performance indicators.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales, profitability, and expense management objectives.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry trade shows, and regional events while promoting new products, services, and strategic initiatives.

Job description

SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sales contribution of assigned geographical territory and exceed specific strategic sales objectives. Responsible for managing and growing sales throughout Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, execute territory sales strategies, and achieve revenue goals across the assigned multi-state region. Travel throughout the territory is required to support customer engagement, account management, and business development.
