Position Title: Regional Sales Manager – West Coast USA

About the Role

A growing, innovation-driven organization is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee strategic sales initiatives across the West Coast territory. This individual will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving adoption of technical solutions across a range of commercial verticals, including retail and foodservice environments.

This role offers a high level of autonomy, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, results, and long-term client value. Ideal candidates will be confident self-starters with proven experience managing a sales region and cultivating high-impact client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the sales pipeline across a multi-state territory, targeting regional and national accounts.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, assess customer needs, and deliver tailored solution proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the retail and foodservice sectors.
  • Achieve sales targets through consultative selling, strategic account planning, and data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer onboarding, support, and retention.
  • Stay informed on market conditions, industry developments, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting efforts.

Ideal Background

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in a technical or solutions-based industry (e.g., HVAC/R, controls, or related fields).
  • Experience working with regional or national accounts in retail, foodservice, or convenience sectors is highly valued.
  • Skilled in solution selling, relationship management, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
