Job summary

hireneXus is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Specialty Food Distribution in the South Region. The role covers a territory from Maryland/Virginia through Florida, based out of Florida, leading 8-10 Business Managers and owning the region’s revenue, volume, and profitability.

You will recruit and coach a dispersed team, build regional plans, manage major accounts, and drive launches and promotions while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive field sales or sales leadership in specialty food or FMCG.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and developing talent.
• Strong commercial acumen — margin, product mix, and business economics.
• Current Florida residency and knowledge of Florida/Southeast market.
• Specialty food distribution experience and Southeast relationships preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team through regular field visits and ride-alongs.
• Build regional sales plans, review performance and forecasts weekly, and course-correct when results are off target.
• Stay directly involved with major/strategic retail accounts and coach your team on account strategy and competitive positioning.
• Lead execution of new product launches and promotional programs across the region.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales leadership, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
