Job summary

Johnson Matthey, a world leader in platinum group metals with a long history, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the US region. You will lead commercial activity, nurture key customer relationships, and coach a regional sales team to drive revenue and strategic growth across the Chemical and LST portfolios.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing commercial or sales teams in a technical or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of platinum group metals markets and their industrial applications.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to manage complex customer portfolios.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, including technical and commercial presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activity across the region, delivering revenue growth and achieving business targets.
• Manage strategic customer relationships and expanding opportunities across the Chemical and LST product portfolio.
• Coach and develop a regional sales team, driving performance, engagement and capability growth.
• Identify new business opportunities, supporting product scale-up and coordinating cross-functional customer solutions.
• Provide market intelligence, forecasting demand and supporting pricing and budgeting decisions.
• Work closely with operations, R&D and commercial stakeholders to optimise products, support innovation and maximise customer value.
