Job description

The salary range for this full-time position is $70k+ commissions, depending on skills and experience.

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE, BUT LIMITED TO APPLICANTS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE CLEVELAND AREA. Travel to client sites in the region is required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Regional Sales Executives are individual contributor field salespeople responsible for generating new business bookings primarily from new customers within their territories. They will articulate the value of our short-run and quick-turnaround digital flexible packaging solutions, manage sales processes, and secure new customer deals. Each Sales Executive will leverage our lead generation team to support sales growth within a designated manufacturing plant location. Territories cover approximately 120 miles and may include some national accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage existing customers and develop new ones, utilizing technology, products, and capabilities to increase market share.
  2. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings, pricing, and sales strategies.
  3. Build relationships and identify customer needs for our products or services.
  4. Maintain current customer relationships through visits, calls, quarterly reviews, and participation in internal/external functions.
  5. Participate in community events to network with customers.
  6. Promptly enter all customer information and updates into Salesforce.
  7. Estimate quotes using our custom build estimation application.
  8. Collaborate with other divisions to maximize cross-selling opportunities and sales potential.
  9. Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities with both new and existing customers, managing resources accordingly.
  10. Develop and manage a sales pipeline focused on increasing active customers and sales volume.
  11. Establish strong, multi-level relationships with new and existing customers.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in partnership and problem-solving sessions, as well as product line trials with customers.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging and working with large accounts.
  • Experience in new business development is required.
  • Results-oriented with strong 'hunting' sales skills.
  • Business knowledge and strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Performance-driven with sales/customer knowledge, decision-making, negotiation skills, and confidence.
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a Google Suites environment, as ePac utilizes Google Suites instead of Windows.
