CJ Schwan’s is seeking an Area Sales & Distribution Manager to lead a sales and distribution team serving Bridgeton, MO and the surrounding area. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring DOT compliance, and optimizing route delivery with field leadership three days a week.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop staff, analyze data to guide business decisions, and manage budgets while representing the company’s safety and service standards in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, sales operations, or route delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree and food-industry DSD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to achieve sales and distribution goals and DOT compliance.
• Maximize in-store sales opportunities through promotions and service.
• Oversee truck utilization, dispatch, and DOT compliance.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members.
• Prepare and present financial and KPI reports to management.
• Maintain customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure safety policies and conduct in field as needed.
