Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the CA and NPAC Region. This full-time, exempt role oversees Small Commercial Sales Managers, driving agent-to-partner conversions and regional business strategies with underwriting and leadership collaboration.

The position is hybrid or remote and requires a proven sales leadership track record, strong mentoring skills, and a bachelor's degree. Industry designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years proven sales and sales management track record in small commercial insurance or financial services.
• Advanced sales and marketing skills with a strong record of developing new business and talent.
• Mentoring and training skills for onboarding and development of sales teams.
• Excellent communication skills for face-to-face, presentations and written communications.
• Professional designation such as CPCU, CIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive conversion of agents to partners and develop regional business strategies.
• Direct and coach Small Commercial Sales Managers and collaborate with underwriting and leadership.
• Develop territory business plans and manage multiple sales priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead regional strategic execution and monitor performance against objectives.
