What will you be responsible for?

As a Regional Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities for Mid Atlantic North Region by qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities in new and existing accounts utilizing appropriate resources necessary to close sales.

  • Drive customer acquisition and expansion in Global 2000 accounts directly and through AppViewX partners.
  • Own and deliver a quota of $1.3M+ annually.
  • Build and foster executive relationships to influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted business advisor.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive growth, partnering closely with Inside Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Maintain and expand the client base through CRM, social media, and targeted prospecting.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and sales, negotiate complex deals, and manage full sales cycles from prospecting to close.
  • Engage C-Level executives to secure project sponsorships and build multi-level trust across accounts.
  • Represent AppViewX at industry events and collaborate internally to drive a high-performance sales culture.
  • Travel as needed across the assigned territory.

What do we Require

  • Proven track record of consistent overachievement of quotas ($1M+) in cybersecurity or SaaS sales.
  • Multiple Presidents Club awards or equivalent top-performer recognitions.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions to enterprise and Global 2000 customers.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with C-level engagement.
  • Strong strategic selling, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to build deep trust and drive executive-level relationships.

  • Strong understanding of technical sales cycles, especially around Identity & Access Management (IAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), cloud infrastructure, or crypto agility solutions.
  • Naturally curious with a strong inclination to ask insightful questions and deeply understand customer challenges.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex technology value propositions to executive stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and purpose-driven professional with a passion for building and expanding enterprise customer relationships
