Job summary

Biodesix is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Mid-Atlantic region, based in Virginia Beach, VA. This leadership role will guide a high-performing sales team and cultivate relationships with interventional pulmonologists, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, and hospital administrators to drive adoption of Biodesix diagnostic solutions.

You will recruit, train, and coach field-based sales professionals, manage regional forecasting and budgets, and execute strategies that deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of documented sales success and sales management experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Experience leading commercialization efforts in healthcare.
• Background in pulmonology or related diagnostic sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
• Foster partnerships with clinicians and hospital leadership to drive product adoption.
• Plan and execute sales strategies to meet regional quotas and growth targets.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management to field sales staff.
• Forecast regional performance and manage regional budget and resources.
• Gather market insights and relay feedback to marketing and leadership.
• Represent Biodesix at regional events and meetings with professionalism.
• Coach through ongoing field visits and performance management.
