Job Summary

The Regional Sales Director, Breast Specialty, manages a region with specific breast reconstruction territories to achieve sales goals with Axogen’s peripheral nerve repair products for breast neurotization.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of OR sales experience in Lifesciences
  • 2+ years sales management experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or at least 4 years of Axogen experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Proven leadership in sales team building and motivation
  • Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with sales teams
  • Experience coaching and counseling sales representatives
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • Willingness to travel and reside in the territory
Responsibilities
  • Maximize regional sales through strategic pricing and resource use
  • Analyze sales data to monitor trends and achievement
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies
  • Manage inventory levels effectively
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews
  • Plan and execute business opportunities
  • Participate in sales meetings and industry events
  • Monitor competitive activities and product acceptance
  • Support sales channel functions and tools adoption
  • Conduct regular field visits and staff development
  • Coordinate hiring, employee development, and performance improvement with HR
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards
Territory

The specific territory will depend on the selected candidate, as this is a new headcount.

Compensation and Benefits

The target total compensation is approximately $300,000 (uncapped), including base salary and commission. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, parental and caregiver leave, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, and disability insurance.

Additional Details

Base salary range: $135,000. Axogen adheres to healthcare guidelines regarding credentialing, vaccinations, and compliance. Policies may be amended at any time.
