Job summary

Groendyke is seeking a Safety Training Professional to lead regional safety training and reinforce consistent, safe work practices across the region. This role requires frequent travel to deliver on-site training and support multiple locations.

You will partner with the Safety team to advance Groendyke's safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and help achieve loss prevention goals. Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, and the ability to adapt to different audiences, are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in safety or a related field.
• Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA requirements.
• Class A CDL preferred; tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred.
• HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and sound judgment.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and personality types.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support regional safety training initiatives across the assigned area.
• Promote Groendyke's safety values, mission, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Reinforce consistent, safe, and efficient work practices across the region.
• Support loss prevention efforts and safety performance goals.
• Partner with regional leaders and employees to reinforce safety expectations and behaviors.
• Communicate field observations, trends, and feedback to help strengthen programs and practices.
• Travel frequently to deliver training and provide on-site support.
