G&E Partners is recruiting a Regional Safety Manager for Southern California to lead safety culture across projects and partner with site teams. You will guide field teams, develop site safety plans, and ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA and Federal OSHA regulations.

The role emphasizes practical field coaching, incident investigations and proactive safety programs to reduce risks and improve outcomes across the region.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Commercial construction background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA and Federal OSHA.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Strong understanding of JHAs, pre-task planning and safety programs.

• Partner closely with Project Teams, Superintendents and site safety professionals across the region.
• Support the development of site-specific safety plans, JHAs and pre-task planning.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis, implementing lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Track and analyze incidents, near misses and safety metrics.
• Provide safety training, coaching and guidance to field teams.
• Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA and applicable occupational health requirements.
• Work closely with Operations, HR, Risk Management and Project Management to align safety initiatives with wider business objectives.

G&E Partners are currently partnered with a well-established, 100% employee-owned General Contractor that is looking to add a Regional Safety Manager to their Southern California team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced construction safety professional to take on a visible leadership position, working closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents and field teams to strengthen safety culture across the region.

The Role

As Regional Safety Manager, you will play a key role in protecting employees, supporting project teams and ensuring construction activities are carried out safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

You will be responsible for providing practical field guidance, coaching and accountability, while helping develop a proactive, people-first safety culture across the organization.

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Commercial construction background preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA and Federal OSHA
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510, CSP, ASP or CHST highly desirable
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Strong understanding of JHAs, pre-task planning and safety programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and influence field leadership
• Strong report writing, organizational and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management or a related field preferred
