Job summary

Tradebe, a leader in environmental and safety services, seeks a proactive Regional Health & Safety Specialist to support our Northeast Region. Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will partner with site leadership and frontline employees across multiple facilities to strengthen safety culture.

This hands-on role focuses on developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety programs for operations including wastewater, transportation, lab pack, and field services.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with operations teams.
• Experience supporting safety programs across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and update policies and standards to maintain a culture of health and safety.
• Execute health and safety plans and emergency response procedures to ensure compliance.
• Develop training materials and deliver training on safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Oversee use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions in the EHS system (Novara).
• Support investigations of incidents and near-misses and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills and exercises.
• Prepare reports on health and safety status for management and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in Safety Committees and coordinate safety messaging across sites.
