Job summary

GenServe seeks a Regional Safety Manager – Environmental Specialist to drive technician development, safety performance, and operational efficiency across the region. The role requires strong knowledge of environmental regulations and expertise, leading to improvements in safety/environmental metrics and SOP development while conducting audits at facilities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field preferred.
• Strong background with CA regulations and RCRA.
• CSP/CHST or similar credential a plus.
• Experience conducting field safety audits and incident investigations.
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO, NFPA and OSHA standards.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence safety culture across multiple sites.
• Regional travel 30–60%.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental policies and regulations; write SOPs for all locations (CA to NY).
• File Tier II reports, follow up on RCRA standards, manage waste/used oil removal and recycling.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety policies, conduct audits, and maintain documentation.
• Emergency Response: Implement emergency response protocols and ensure team training.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Compliance and Documentation: Keep certifications up to date and prepare monthly reports.
