Job summary

Quality-Propane is seeking a Routing Operations Manager to optimize delivery routing across service centers in Minnesota. You will use routing software, ERP data, and real-time decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs while keeping drivers on schedule.

In the first 90 days you will own routing plans, build KPI dashboards, and partner with General Managers to implement improvements. This role blends office work with site visits and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, routing, transportation planning, or supply chain operations
• Hands-on experience using routing software, ERP systems, or similar logistics tools
• Strong ability to analyze data and turn insights into operational changes
• Experience managing or supporting high-volume delivery or fleet operations
• Ability to travel regularly to service centers within the region

Responsibilities

• Manage routing for 18–22 truck/driver combinations, daily adjustments based on demand and constraints
• Use routing software, GPS data, and analytics to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze metrics like gallons per stop, route completion, and driver productivity
• Partner with operations, IT, and service center teams to improve system usage and workflows
• Conduct route audits and implement changes that improve service consistency and reduce overtime
• Support driver performance with field leadership on improvements
• Plan for peak demand periods and disruptions
