Job summary

Fox Trail Memory Care seeks a Regional Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and hands-on nursing expertise across 14 memory care communities in Ramsey, NJ, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on guiding nursing operations, mentoring caregivers, and shaping residents’ quality of life with dementia-focused care.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license, has 1+ year of administrative experience, and demonstrates strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey (in good standing).
• Minimum 1 year of administrative/management experience.
• Experience in assisted living or dementia care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and leadership for nursing operations across multiple memory care communities.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and caregivers.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and care protocols.
• Assess residents and oversee individualized care plans.
• Lead survey readiness and corrective action planning to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff education.
• Review QAPI data to identify trends and drive clinical excellence.
• Coordinate with medical providers and interdisciplinary team to integrate care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary under established policies.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and emergency procedures are followed.
• Report concerns regarding resident safety or care promptly.
