Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Regional Risk Manager to join our Manhattan, NY; Brooklyn, NY; or New Rochelle, NY offices. The role involves managing the insurance program for assigned business units, assessing risk exposures, and coordinating with brokers and underwriters to secure optimal coverage.

You will review contracts and bonding requirements, oversee all related claims, and work with attorneys and stakeholders to minimize liability while ensuring cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk management, construction insurance, and claims handling.
• Knowledge of wrap-ups (CCIP/OCIP), builders’ risk, SDI, and complex claims management.
• Certifications such as ARM, CPCU, CRIS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall insurance program for assigned business units, including renewals, risk assessments, and program optimization.
• Identify risk exposures, analyze risks, and recommend coverage and claim strategies.
• Review contracts, insurance, and bonding requirements; secure project-specific coverage with brokers and underwriters.
• Oversee liability, workers’ comp, auto, builders’ risk, and property claims from incident to resolution.
• Coordinate with attorneys, carriers, and units on active lawsuits and risk reviews.
• Lead setup and compliance of controlled insurance programs and builder’s risk policies.
