Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking an Area Respiratory Operations Technician to support the Regional Director of Respiratory Services in overseeing and enhancing respiratory rehabilitation programs across multiple skilled nursing facilities.

The role covers operational, clinical, and educational activities to ensure high-quality respiratory care, program compliance, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams, with regular travel to assigned facilities within the region.

Responsibilities

• Track respiratory programs daily using multiple EHR and computer systems.
• Manage scheduling of respiratory therapy treatments, including weekends, and ensure staffing coverage.
• Review patients and data for respiratory indicators, medications, and diagnostics.
• Audit orders, evaluate treatments, and ensure care plan compliance.
• Maintain patient and facility listings for oxygen and devices.
• Audit respiratory equipment weekly (oxygen concentrators, tanks, CPAP/BiPAP).
• Communicate patient needs and referrals to nursing/therapy staff.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care.
• Educate facility staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Support program implementation and updates to meet clinical standards.
• Conduct onsite and virtual interviews for respiratory staff; assist with onboarding.
• Serve as a resource for staff on operational systems and clinical processes.
• Assess and maintain inventory of respiratory equipment; remove nonfunctional items.
• Promote efficient utilization of equipment and compliance with regulations.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and program evaluation.
