Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Patient‑and Family‑Centered Practice knowledge.

• Medication administration and prescription knowledge.
• Discharge planning knowledge.

• BLS & ACLS – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• RN – Licensed Registered Nurse NJ.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff.
• Integrates evidence‑based practice with clinical expertise to deliver optimal care.
• Partners with patients and families in identifying learning needs and providing education.
• Minimizes risk of harm by following nursing practices and protocols.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making.
• Monitors outcomes of care and applies quality improvement methods.
• Functions within inter‑professional teams with open communication and shared decision‑making.
• Respects patient preferences, priorities, needs, and cultural beliefs in care.
