Job summary

South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) seeks a Business Consultant for the Employment Services division in the Greenville Region. You will develop services for employers and support SC Works Centers, connecting jobseekers to opportunities and advising on labor market needs.

The role requires travel, weekend/evening work as needed, and collaboration with regional teams to ensure employer satisfaction and EO compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher with 4+ years of recruitment/selection experience.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of recruitment/selection, workforce development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Promote SC Works Center services at partner and community meetings.
• Market SC Works services to employers, focusing on Federal Contractors.
• Collaborate with Regional Business Service Team to support new projects.
• Schedule recruitment and hiring events.
• Meet with new businesses and communicate with current employers using SC Works site.
