Job summary

Maybell Quantum, a venture-backed quantum hardware innovator in Albuquerque, seeks a commercially driven Field Applications Manager to grow the New Mexico footprint and drive adoption of Roadrunner Quantum Lab systems.

You will build labs, programs, and groups, recruit researchers, and convert regional presence into orders while providing hands-on support for dilution refrigerators. This role requires travel to customer sites and Maybell HQ in Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–7 years in field applications, technical sales, or related roles with customer ownership.
• Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems and lab hardware.

Responsibilities

• Grow Maybell’s footprint in New Mexico by opening labs, programs, and groups and driving bookings on RQL systems.
• Support installation, cooldown, operation, and troubleshooting of cryogenic systems at customer sites.
• Build regional pipeline, forecast growth, and communicate with leadership.
• Represent Maybell at regional events and translate capability into business cases.
• Train customers and develop operating guidance and troubleshooting playbooks.
• Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to turn regional work into content.
