Job summary

CSP in Auburn, Alabama, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality function at our automotive Tier 1 facility. The role focuses on establishing and reviewing process controls, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring IATF16949 compliance while engaging cross-functional teams.

You will supervise quality engineers and technicians, develop measurement systems, and report KPIs to plant leadership. A decade of experience, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering defect-free products

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as Quality Manager in a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
• Experience with IATF16949 and automotive customer portals.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of SPC and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities to obtain third party registration per IATF-16949 standards.
• Understand customer needs to develop effective quality control processes.
• Develop and review product/process specifications.
• Set requirements for raw materials and monitor supplier compliance.
• Lead health and safety adherence and legal obligations.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians and staff, providing guidance.
• Oversee product development to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
• Submit detailed reports to executives and solicit customer feedback.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new procedures.
