Zusammenfassung

GACC Midwest is assisting in the recruitment of a Quality Manager for the U.S. operation of an established international manufacturer. You will own the Quality Management System, drive IATF 16949 readiness, and support new automotive programs, customer audits, and continuous improvement across the U.S.

site. Role requires hands‑on automotive quality expertise, collaboration with U.S. and German leadership, and leadership of Core Tools and documentation to embed robust quality processes

Qualifikationen

• Progressive quality experience in automotive manufacturing.
• IATF 16949 knowledge and exposure to audits.
• Hands-on Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and customer audits.
• Launch support and quality documentation ownership.
• Cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Aufgaben

• Lead and continuously improve the site's QMS.
• Prepare for IATF 16949 certification and audits.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation and plans.
• Coordinate customer audit preparation and visits.
• Apply Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Support product launches and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and others.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train staff on quality systems and KPIs.
• Monitor quality performance and drive improvements.
