Job summary

Silvi Materials is seeking a Regional QC Manager to supervise QC technicians across 9 PA sites and to ensure concrete testing meets specifications. You will drive testing of aggregates, moisture, slump, air, and strength to maintain quality standards.

The role requires travel to multiple plants, occasional overtime, and willingness to learn or obtain ACI Level 1 certification. Strong communication with operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; related experience acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Willingness to obtain or possess ACI Level 1 certification.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in diverse conditions.
• Flexibility for varied hours, overtime, weekend and night pours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC Technicians at Silvi, PA site locations (9 sites total).
• Perform initial and ongoing testing of aggregate and concrete.
• Adjust mix design based on test results in coordination with operations.
• Test concrete cylinders for compressive strength and compare to specs.
• Communicate findings to plant operations and QA teams; manage field issues.
