Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee the Public Affairs section.
• Provide leadership for a staff of public affairs specialists and other communications related staff to ensure effective, timely, and compliant strategic communications and public information products.
• Represent the Agency with high-level officials within and outside EPA to coordinate policy and communications, negotiate and resolve sensitive issues, and ensure timely information sharing.
