Job summary

CYM Living in Indianapolis region seeks an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities. You will drive occupancy, revenue, and NOI while leading on-site teams and ensuring financial and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong budgeting and reporting skills, and regular travel across properties. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 5–7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years of progressive multi-family property management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managing multiple properties or a regional portfolio.
• Proven success managing budgets, financial reporting, and NOI performance.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, OneSite, or similar).
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple multi-family communities within an assigned region.
• Ensure properties meet occupancy, revenue, and NOI goals; monitor performance through reviews.
• Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate Community Managers and regional staff.
• Develop, review, and manage annual operating budgets; analyze monthly statements and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and local regulations; coordinate maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing to maximize occupancy and resident retention; report to senior leadership.
