Job summary

TIPTON ASSET GROUP in Plano, Texas is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 5–7 apartment properties in the DFW area and lead cross-property teams.

You will hire and supervise site staff, coordinate with owners and asset managers, and manage operating expenses while preparing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with a requirement to reside in the DFW area.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience as a multi-property manager.
• Proficiency with OneSite and Excel; budget preparation.
• Residence in the DFW area with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Hire, motivate, support and supervise managers and staff across properties in the portfolio.
• Interface with property owners/asset managers to report performance and issues.
• Monitor, review and approve all property operating expenses.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financials and budgets.
• Conduct weekly rental-rate calls to set pricing, deposits and leasing goals.
• Respond to resident complaints and monitor portfolio performance on review sites.

Regional Property Manager

About this position

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Regional Property Manager who has a track record for assembling and supervising teams that outperform their respective markets.

What do we need you to do? Supervise a portfolio of 5 – 7 apartment properties in the DFW area.

The Job : Our Regional Property Managers are responsible for:

• Hiring, motivating, supporting and supervising the managers and staffs on the properties in their portfolio.
• Interface as needed with property owners and/or asset managers to communicate the ongoing performance of their properties and any issues that need their attention or involvement.
• Monitor, review and approve all property operating expenses.
• Financial review and reporting monthly, quarterly and annually. Preparation of annual operating budgets.
• Weekly pricing calls with managers in order to set rental rates, specials, deposits, leasing criteria and leasing goals for each property.
• Respond to and resolve any resident complaints and/or concerns communicated to the corporate office. Monitor portfolio performance on review sites and motivate staffs to continually improve their standing on those review sites

The Details : Our Regional Property Managers should meet the following criteria:

• Be positive, energetic, and love property management.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience as a multiple property manager. Additional onsite experience will be considered a major plus
• Have working knowledge of property management software, such as OneSite, and also be proficient in EXCEL and budget preparation
• Must live in the DFW area, preferably within a reasonable commute to our West Plano office location. We currently have a hybrid work program with a mix of time spent on the properties, at the corporate office and remotely.
