Job summary

Toonen Companies Inc. seeks a full-time Regional Property Manager for our Appleton portfolio of 700 units. You will lead a dedicated team and ensure resident satisfaction through outstanding service while maintaining property standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of property management experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of fair housing laws. A valid driver's license is required; mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of property management experience.
• Experience managing at least 500 units.
• Experience leading a team of employees.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (reimbursed mileage).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organization, self-motivation and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing, maintenance and housekeeping teams.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents.
• Inspect apartment homes and grounds regularly.
• Manage move-in/move-out with vendors and services.
• Maximize occupancy through resident retention.
• Resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Schedule vendor turns.
• Assist leasing staff with calls, tours, and signings.
• Follow fair housing laws and landlord/tenant regulations.

Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking a full-time Regional Property Manager to join our team in Appleton. The portfolio consists of 700 units.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Leading a dedicated team of leasing, maintenance and housekeeping professionals.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service.
• Regular inspection of apartment homes and grounds.
• Managing the resident move-in/move-out process through timely scheduling of vendors, maintenance and housekeeping services.
• Maximising occupancy through resident retention.
• Investigating and resolving any complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Scheduling vendors for turns.
• Assisting leasing staff with answering phones, showing apartments, and lease signings.
• Follow company policies, fair housing laws and regulations, and landlord/tenant laws.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in property management.
• Have experience managing at least 500 units.
• Experience managing a team of employees.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (we pay for mileage).
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must be organized, self-motivated and energetic with a constant friendly and helpful attitude.
