Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Regional Support Liaison to provide on-site management coverage for multiple Minnesota properties, ensuring continuous operations and resident satisfaction.

You will report to the Regional Director of Property Management and support senior leadership on special projects. This role requires five days per week in office and sits within a nonprofit housing portfolio, aligning with HUD and LIHTC compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive property management experience, preferably in mixed-income communities.
• Strong knowledge of occupancy standards, recertification processes, and lease-up procedures.
• Ability to travel frequently within the Chicago Region with short notice; Driver's license required.
• COS or TCS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Temporary Site Coverage: serve as interim Site Manager, Assistant Manager, or Recertification/Occupancy Specialist during leaves or vacancies.
• Operational Support: assist properties with occupancy, delinquency, and lease renewals; help monitor resident payments per policy.
• Lease-Up Support: assist with marketing, applicant screening, move-in coordination, and compliance documentation.
• Compliance & Reporting: ensure adherence to HUD, LIHTC regulations; resolve EIV discrepancies; prepare reports.
• Team Collaboration: work with Regional Director, VP of Operations and site teams; train staff as needed.
