Job summary

A leading Raleigh-based General Contractor is hiring a Project Engineer for a $45M ground-up facility. This long-duration (2.5-year) project includes structural steel and high-end finishes. Candidates from Raleigh, the Triad, or Charlotte seeking regional project work are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include managing RFIs and procurement, while working closely with the Superintendent on execution. Upward mobility opportunities are highlighted for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Exposure to wastewater or process facilities is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the project from mobilization through closeout.
• Managing RFIs, submittals, logs, and document control.
• Assisting with buyout, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Partnering closely with the Superintendent on schedule and field execution.
• Exposure to steel packages, masonry scopes, and high-end finishes.
• Helping drive owner and design team coordination on a process-focused build.
