Job summary

Gang Alternative, Inc. seeks a Director of Programs to oversee multi-county nonprofit programs, grants, and budgets. The role reports to the Chief of Staff and requires in-person leadership across Miami-Dade and Broward with travel to Palm Beach.

The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive program management, grant oversight, and executive leadership experience, along with a Master’s degree in a relevant field. This is an in-person leadership role with a strong focus on outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of program management experience in nonprofit settings.
• Five+ years of executive leadership supervising Program Managers/Directors.
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience overseeing multiple state and federal grants or contracts.

Responsibilities

• Attract, develop, coach, supervise, evaluate, and retain Program Managers/Directors.
• Monitor program performance, reporting, budgets, and compliance.
• Develop and oversee grant proposals and funder communications.
• Ensure programs are audit-ready, fiscally responsible, and data-driven.
