Job summary

EDMO is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program operations across designated locations in Northern California and travel to partner sites daily. You will align programs with EDMO’s mission, manage staff, foster community partnerships, and ensure high-quality delivery within contract terms.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within educational or youth-focused programs.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills.
  • Extensive experience in program development, management, and evaluation.
  • Proven experience in hiring, coaching, and managing a team of employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of a Program Manager at their assigned program location.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to execute contract terms between EDMO and Partner District.
  • Provide leadership to ensure partnership agreements are fulfilled in an above-satisfactory way.
  • Manage regional budgets and payroll within contractual guidelines; reconcile budgets biweekly.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support program staff across sites; conduct performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with recruiting to hire and train effective program staff.
  • Ensure programs adhere to EDMO policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Oversee program operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
