Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Regional Product Manager to drive profitable growth for Assigned Active Ingredients portfolios across the Americas. The role focuses on portfolio management, product marketing, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.

You will translate global portfolio strategies into regional execution, manage product positioning, and lead launches and pricing actions to maximize value and market differentiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field and at least 5 years in product/portfolio management or related roles.
• Experience in specialty chemicals or personal care ingredients is preferred.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and financial acumen required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product positioning, value propositions, and portfolio messaging for the Americas region.
• Drive regional pricing strategy, including value-based pricing and corridor management to maximize profitability.
• Lead lifecycle management and portfolio strategies aligning with global priorities, including optimization and phase-out decisions.
• Lead product launches with business case development, value-based pricing, launch checklists, and post-launch performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective portfolio execution and market requirements.

Acting as the regional product management representative for the portfolio, this role translates global portfolio strategies into regional execution and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Operations to maximize business performance. The position serves as the regional expert on portfolio performance, product positioning, pricing, competitive dynamics and commercialization activities while ensuring alignment with global portfolio objectives.
