Job summary

Belimo in United States, Danbury is seeking a Process & Operational Support Buyer to improve procurement processes, coordinate inbound logistics, and ensure data accuracy. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain ISO 9001 compliance.

The role emphasizes ASN management, KPI development, and training of new Buyers, with a focus on efficiency and strong supplier performance. Base compensation reflects market levels for the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in procurement operations with a focus on process and efficiency improvement.
• Min 3 years experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support Operational Buyers in best practices to improve efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes.
• Support inbound logistics optimization and goods receipt processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve shipment and delivery issues.

Introduction

The Process & Operational Support Buyer is responsible for supporting procurement operations through effective process management, supplier collaboration, and logistics coordination. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, driving continuous improvement, and optimizing inbound supply chain activities, while maintaining compliance and strong supplier performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct support for Team Lead Procurement operations US.
• Lead and support ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) processes with key suppliers, including K&N
• Ensure timely and accurate ASN creation, transmission, and issue resolution
• Create, maintain, and improve work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Work with Team Lead to Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze performance trends and recommend improvements
• Support Operational Buyers in best practices to improve efficiency
• Training of new Buyers.
• Support Team Lead to Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes
• Support inbound logistics optimization and goods receipt processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve shipment and delivery issues

Required Expertise

• 5+ years experience in procurement operations with a focus on process and efficiency improvement. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Min 3 years experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Continuos improvement mindset.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working according to ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
