Job summary

Gerdau is seeking a Regional Procurement Manager in Midlothian, TX to lead SPOT procurement for indirect materials and services, drive sourcing initiatives, and strengthen supplier partnerships. You will collaborate with operations, finance, engineering, and executives to optimize total cost of ownership and enable growth.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Business, Engineering or Economics.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, and category strategies.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Ability to lead negotiations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• CPSM, CPM, or related certification preferred.

• Lead SPOT procurement operations for indirect materials, service, and all commodities
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier partnerships
• Drive cost reduction, working capital improvement, and supply continuity
• Manage contracts, supplier performance, quality, and risk mitigation
