Loenbro is seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and tool management across multiple states from Des Moines, IA or Cedar Rapids, IA. You will manage regional teams, optimize procurement processes, and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive cost savings and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with project managers to forecast needs, analyze market trends, and implement strategic purchasing initiatives that support core construction activities and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of purchasing and/or warehouse management experience.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and computerized purchasing systems.
• Knowledge of market dynamics, cost analysis, and supply chain principles.
• Ability to assess and implement cost-saving measures effectively.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Purchasing and Tool teams across regions.
• Hire train and develop team members; align operations with project needs.
• Oversee purchase orders invoices and vendor communications.
• Maintain DOA compliance and authorize high-level purchases.
• Collaborate with project managers to reduce PO volume and costs.
• Monitor market conditions and material availability; report trends.
• Evaluate vendor performance quarterly and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop strategic purchasing initiatives with project management.
• Maintain records and coordinate with Accounts Payable.
