Job summary

Georg-Fischer seeks a Regional Category Manager to shape and execute regional procurement category strategies in close collaboration with global category leads and regional partners. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
5-10 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in a category management role.
Analytical skills with a structured approach to understand and solve complex problems.
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to present at senior levels.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements regional procurement category strategy aligned with global/category leads.
Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and gain buy-in.
Conducts regional market analysis and leads supplier negotiations.
Supports regional claims in alignment with regional/global stakeholders.
Optimizes procurement category efficiency through harmonization and automation.
