Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a lead for the Epoxy plant's Process Safety Management program in Deer Park, Ohio. You will set strategic direction and ensure regulatory compliance across NA region. You will lead PSM initiatives, mentor teams, coordinate with Epoxy COE and regional HSE, and drive the 'Vision of Zero' in safety.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering with 5–8 years PSM experience.
• Extensive experience with process safety risk assessment tools and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to influence teams and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PSM program and related programs for Epoxy and NA region.
• Participate on Westlake PSM, Epoxy COE, NA Regional and Site HSE Teams.
• Guidance on Corporate and Epoxy PSM strategic initiatives and expectations.
• Focus on Vision of Zero and develop programs that control process safety risks in line with regulatory compliance.
• Lead efforts to improve cost reduction and process effectiveness in process safety management.
• Coordinate third party process safety consultants in NA region.
• Ability to lead/support other regional engineering needs/projects at any Westlake Epoxy sites.
