Under direction of the State Prevention Specialist in the Office of Behavioral Health Prevention, the primary role of the Regional Prevention Specialist (RPS) is to manage funding for procuring prevention services at the regional and community level. This is done by supervising regional prevention services/programs through the monitoring of prevention contracting contract deliverables, payments, reporting, and evaluations. This position will also provide technical assistance to funded providers concerning prevention and will assist in the development of the community prevention infrastructure. Other duties will include: Quarterly travel may be required.
