Oakland Heights Senior Living is seeking a regional plumber to support multiple communities. This full‑time role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings, with travel between sites as needed.

The successful candidate will respond to urgent issues, perform inspections, interpret blueprints, and coordinate with onsite teams while adhering to state and local codes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a plumber in residential, commercial, or multi-unit housing.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing issues.
• Fluent reading of blueprints, schematics, and layouts.
• Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across assigned communities.
• Respond to urgent leaks, clogs, and equipment failures with minimal disruption.
• Inspect systems regularly to identify hazards and inefficiencies.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate layouts.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for plumbing tasks.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.
• Document work with parts used, time spent, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with plumbing during turnovers or renovations.
• Adhere to state/local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Provide clear communication with residents and staff.
• Travel between communities as needed; participate in on-call rotations.
• Open availability on weekends and holidays.
